You can’t just buy any printer cartridge as it might not work in your printer. The printer you own or plan to buy is either a laser printer or an inkjet printer. For the former, your replacement cartridges are Laser toner cartridges; the for the latter, inkjet cartridges. These two are completely different printers and make use of different cartridges. Laser toner cartridges are casings for dry powder that fuses on the surface of any kind of paper. You can save money, over time, when you use laser printers. These typically have toners that last for years at a time before requiring replacement, unlike their inkjet counterparts. But if you only need to print school, office, or personal needs that don’t amount to hundreds of pages printed rapidly, then inkjet printers are right for you. One way to cut down on costs when you replace laser toner cartridges and inkjet cartridges is to use remanufactured cartridges.
