Sony are currently building up a large range of downloadable PSP Go games available to their new system. As the PSP Go no longer holds a UMD drive, all titles must be downloaded via the Playstation Store. The advantage is that PSP Go now gains access to a wide catalogue of titles from numerous different Sony systems.
Many PS One retros are available as downloadable PSP Go games. These titles are bound to evoke nostalgia to veterans as they return to the classics of yesteryear! These titles are also enjoyable in their own right, and many new users will surely embrace such brilliant favourites as Crash Bandicoot, Ehrgeiz and the Soul Reaver titles.
Such is the strength and potential of the PSP Go that it can house a range of Playstation 3 titles. These aren’t full-blown Playstation 3 titles, but rather shorter, more compact versions. They do exhibit wonderful graphics and gameplay though, and are therefore ideal downloadable PSP Go games. Some examples are Joust, LocoRoco and Final Fight.
The device is capable of playing PC ported titles, broadening the options even farther. The number of these titles is at present small, but Sony promise that the list will be extended to comprise even more downloadable PSP Go games. The most well known titles from the PC arena available for the PSP Go are the Bonk series - which are as funny as the name suggests!
Many were unsure of the download function of the PSP Go, but with a heap of amazing titles already on offer, the console is growing in popularity. The list of downloadable PSP Go games just keeps increasing, so go see what all the fuss is about!
