The long anticipated Madden 2009 hit the shelves just hours ago. Many people have already gone to Midnight releases to get their hands on the game before everybody else. The blockbuster game is out for ever major console, including the Xbox 360, Xbox PS3, PS2, Wii, DS, PSP. With the game out on every console, almost anybody should be able to grab this one. EA has released a special edition to commemorate Madden’s 20th anniversary.

EA Sports has revamped almost every aspect of the game to give the player the best experience possible. Some of the updates include the option for the game to adapt to the players skill lever, letting them get the most fair match possible. Also new is a televised-style replay that helps your better your strategy. EA has also given the game more updated graphics and weather, making the playing field seem almost life like. There is also a new family play mode that allows any player to simplify plays and functions into one button so that they can play up against even the most fierce player. Madden 09 will also be sporting an online game that will support up to 32 players.
