Bungie has finally come out with yet another new map pack for Halo 3. As if the first Heroic Map Pack wasn’t good enough, the Legendary Map Pack will be coming out on April 15th. This map pack will include three new maps, well, at least one new map anyway. The maps are Blackout, Avalanche, and Ghost Town.

Blackout is essentially the exact same as Halo 2’s popular Lockout. It has been re-done to look more like an abandoned Forerunner complex. It has more of a Mechanical look to it.

Avalanche is not so much a new map, but rather an old one. It is, what many original Halo players will love, a remake of Sidewinder. It was one of the bigger maps on the original Halo. It will be perfect for any Big Team Battle or any large party, full of surprises around every corner.

Ghost Town is a brand new map perfect for any 4v4 gamestypes. It is a small abandoned complex in the mountainous region. There will be plenty of hiding spots, as well as vantage points in the map.

The Legendary Map Pack will most likely cost another 800 Microsoft Points, but will be well worth it. The original Halo fans who have played through the entire series will especially appreciate the hard work put into re-doing two very popular maps. Check back for more updates!
